New Year's Eve River Party

Say goodbye to 2026 and kick off the new year with a bang on Wednesday, December 31!

The ever-popular New Year’s Eve River Party brought to you by Mackay Festivals and Mackay Regional Council is back from 6pm - 9pm.

This free community event is a favourite among locals and visitors alike. There will be non-stop entertainment for the whole family featuring amusement rides, food vendors, market stalls, local musicians, and entertainment.

The NYE River Party will be topped off with the 9pm and midnight fireworks!
