Overview

The Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens has welcomed visitors since May 2003.

Set across 51 hectares, the Gardens feature themed plant collections, wildlife filled lagoons and links to Mackay’s natural and cultural history. With more than six kilometres of formal pathways, you can explore the Gardens at your own pace.

We showcase plant life from the Central Queensland Coast bioregion, alongside Australian natives and exotic species from similar climates around the world.
