Whether you are visiting the region, just passing through, or a true blue local, stop by and enjoy the Sarina Field of Dreams parklands and discover all that is on offer in the Sarina area and the wider Mackay region. The parklands are perfectly positioned as the southern gateway to the Mackay region and will inspire you to discover the endless natural, cultural and heritage experiences of our region.

To help you plan your stay in the region, be sure to pop into the state-of-the-art Mackay Region Visitor Information Centre. Our dedicated volunteers can help provide you with a range of local and regional brochures and information on tours, attractions and accommodation.

Stay a while and discover the outstanding cultural attractions at the parklands such as the Art and Craft Centre and Art Gallery. In the parklands, you’ll also find Australia’s only miniature sugar mill and distillery, the Sarina Sugar Shed. It’s a fun and interactive way to learn about the sugar industry – and taste some of the delicious, award-winning Sugar Shed products too!

Everyone is catered for within the parklands, with many comfort facilities available including a shaded picnic area, free gas barbecues, toilets, free WIFI, parking and Dump Ezy dump point for recreational vehicles, undercover playground and much more.
